Would be awful because Irmo would just recruit harder than normal and everyone would go to big name schools.

This isn't about Sports...it's a way to satisfy school choice and public school supporters in one fail swoop. Good luck at pleasing EVERYONE.

You are correct in saying it is not about recruiting, but do you not think that at some point recruiting will become another factor in picking which 3% a school may "have" to let in. Eventually someone will game the system, we see it now and it will happen then just will have another "tool" to do it with.

It's possible, but I'm not sure what people plan to do about overcrowding.
