SC Soccer
The S.C. High School Weekend of Champions for soccer will be May 23-24 at River Bluff High School (320 Corley Mill Road, Lexington 29072).

The S.C. High School Soccer Coaches Association will once again assist the SCHSL in the promotion and production of the event.

SCHSSCA will run concessions at the event and volunteers to staff the concession stands are needed. SCHSSCA will gladly accept any donations of Coca-Cola can products, Gatorade - 16 oz. size, Bottle Water, M&Ms, Snickers, etc. for sale at the canteen. All proceeds directly fund the North-South Soccer Classic and the Clash of the Carolinas all-star games this summer.

SCHSSCA will also supply ticket-takers at the event at two gates. We will need a minimum of four volunteers for each match.

Please reply in this thread if you wish to volunteer for Friday and/or Saturday duty. If you can only come for certain times, please indicate when you can work.

If you have canteen product to donate, please give to a SCHSSCA Executive Board member or if in the Midlands, drop off for Kevin Heise at Brookland-Cayce High School (1300 State Street, Cayce 29033).

The SCHSSCA will also provide the rosters/program for the event.

How did River Bluff HS get to host? Why not have the State Championships at a neutral site like USC used to host?
A 'beachfan' has committed to donating ... 3 cases of Gatorade (30 bottles per case) and 3 cases of water (35 per case) on behalf of Academic Magnet.
Swansea HS will donate a case of Gatorade and a case of water.

Email bjergerson@icloud.com or call cell(803)920-4460 for more information
Cornelius Cromer can work the A & AA boys games on Saturday.
Bob Taylor will work the 11:30 game on Saturday anything you need I will also bring water and gatorade for concession on Saturday.

*** URGENT MESSAGE ***

If anyone can assist the SCHSSCA this afternoon at RBHS for the Girls 2A/1A (3pm) and 3A (5pm) matches it is most appreciated.

Both canteens need to be staffed and, presently, there are very few signed up to do so. If the SCHSSCA does not staff these concession stands - which are on opposite sides and inaccessible from each side of the stadium - then we will lose the opportunity to generate revenue for the two all-star matches the SCHSSCA sponsors each summer.

Midlands area coaches - please pitch in and help your Association. Thank you!
Mid Carolina HS will donate 5 cases of water for Saturday.
Brookland-Cayce HS donated 10 cases of water.
