Are there any players that play another sport in high school(Excluding cross country)? For instance, I remember Jamacia Jackson from Sumter was a winger in high school. He played football at Carolina. Wes Knight from Wren was a track runner if I'm not mistaken, who is now in the MLS. Both were pretty good soccer players. Hadn't heard a lot about multi-sport players in recent times. Just wondering! Show Light!!!

Here's Ochocinco earlier this year visiting a Real club!

Brandon kicks for Wando , big difference between that and playing a position. Although with his speed he would have been a great WR for them.

Playing multiple sports is tremendously beneficial, for BOT physical and mental reasons. Basketball HOFer Hakeem Olajuwon often attributed his outstanding footwork to playing soccer in his native Nigeria.
Recently in our state, guys like Bruce Ellington, AJ Green, and Sydney Rice were outstanding multi-sport guys.
Further back, Anthony Johnson (long NBA career) was quarterback, shortstop/pitcher, and point guard for Stall High School.
