What schools are hosting preseason tournaments in the upstate for the upcoming season? And are they still looking for teams?

Wando's Raising Cane's Carolina Classic will be held February 21-23rd in Charleston.

Any update on Upstate Tournaments

I believe Northwestern is hosting one. That should be posted somewhere on this site.

Ridge View and Blythewood co-host the JT Kia's Sandhills Soccer Classic in February. This years dates are February 28 - March 2, 2014. The cost is still $300. Anyone interested in participating contact

Has anyone confirmed that Northwestern is hosting a preseason tournament? If so, who is the contact?

Yes, Northwestern HS is hosting a preseason tournament. Contact Niel Welborn. I believe the Trojans have 12 teams committed thus far but are willing to make it a 16 team field.

Chapin Cup will be taking a break due to construction on the facilities this year. We will look to be back fielding 6-8 teams in 2015 season. More information to come.

The Sandhills Classic is still looking for some teams to fill the schedule. The following teams have already committed:
B'Wood, Spring Valley, RNE, RVHS, Stratford Academy, Nations Ford, Ft. Mill, S. Aiken, Ashley Ridge. It will be held Feb 28, March 2, 2014. If interested contact John Donohue at jdonohue@richland2.org or Peter Wittig at pwittig@richland2.org
