I think that this will be a hard fought game according to stats for both teams. With S. Aiken beating Irmo they will certainly be jacked but with Lexington losing their games in the tournament Lex will also be ready to start fresh.
All of Lexington's losses came against high quality teams. While I am certainly not discounting South Aiken, I feel that Lexington should, and will, win this game by two or three goals.

It was 2-1 with plenty of opportunities for Lexington, who dominated the game.
However... I have to tell you the goal South Aiken scored is deserving of goal of the year so far. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the player (Ithink it was number 7).
The ball was cleared from a corner kick and the player chased the ball to the top of the box (about even with the 6 yard box) and proceeded to scissor kick a beautiful shot to the near post.
Not only was the goal beautiful, but I will give credit to the referee who could have called a dangerous play and did not.
Too often referees forget the flow of the game and stick to the rule without using their heads.
The young man should be talking all day today in school anyone who knows the game can appreciate it.
congratulations to lexington on picking up the slack after south aiken scored and putting in their own goal on their very next possession 30 seconds later. they have again and again shown their ability to produce goals in a very short amount of time.

no sorry, SA scored, celebrates and brings the ball to the middle. the whistle is blown, lexington strings together some passes and scores a goal 30 seconds later.
