Mauldin wins region. Hillcrest finishes 3rd. Not the way you want to come in 3rd, but its our highest finish in a while so I guess we'll take it.

*Riverside and Mauldin finish as co-region champs with Mauldin taking the #1 seed in tiebreakers for playoffs.

Sorry about skipping ahead, as far as i know..

If Mauldin pulls out a win against Brynes on Wednesday(fisrt meeting 4-0 Mauldin) Mauldin and Riverside will have an identical conference record of 12-1-0, thus moving to tie breakers. The tie breaker goes to least goals against currently Mauldin having 9 and Riverside with 11. Making the two teams co-region champs and giving Mauldin the #1 seed.

Of course not to underestimate Brynes, lets say Brynes scores 2 or 3 against Mauldin then it's a different story.

If Mann and Hillcrest split with Mann winning the aggregate 4-3 how does Hillcrest get 3rd. And based on the above theory we also gave up the least goals than Hillcrest in conference 29-17.

First, yes I knew the answer, but I was not sure as to the final standings for I did not talk with Coach Czar last night. But thank you for correcting my spelling ;-)

Who is patriot and why are you using my line. I was there to watch another typical Riverside/mann match. Great game by the mann goalie. So close. Mann could have used that one but since the groundhog saw his shadow they get fourth seed.(I assume that's how its determined). But all roads lead thru TL Hanna so might as well get it over with.

My bad for jumping the gun. I thought Mauldin had played all their region games. They do still have to play Byrnes so the #1 seed is still up in the air. I believe that Hillcrest finishing 3rd is correct. Hillcrest and Mann both finished 6-6 in the region. We split our head to head games. The next tie breaker, unless it has been changed, is a points system for wins within the region. We both beat Byrnes. Mann beat Dorman twice( Hillcrest split with Dormann) and Hillcrest beat B. Springs twice( Mann Split with B. Springs). B.springs finished higher in the region than Dorman so Hillcrest wins the tie breaker

Got it. That blasted Boiling Springs. Should be good match betwwen Hillcrest and Wren.

You know that came to mind,... but our whole mid field being on a field trip, when we played Hillcrest, kind of fixed that. No need to sand bag.

South Aiken finishes the regular season 17-2-1, 9-1 in Region V-AAAA. The Thoroughbreds claim at least a tie for the region championship with Lexington (if Lexington defeats White Knoll tonight). A Lexington win would give the Wildcats not only a tie for region champs, but Lexington would win the Region V-AAAA tie-breaker for the #1 seed from Region V-AAAA. Should Lexington lose tonight, South Aiken would be outright Region champions and earn the region's #1 seed.

you're thinking of the old Riverside team. But I did make an error . Forgot it was at the reservation so I have to allow for the standard one pk from the refs in their back pocket; so 3-1. important thing is to play all out and leave nothing for next week.

It appears that Vegas did not give enough weight to Hanna's weak schedule before they posted their line. Now I have start my bracket all over.But don't worry help is own the way for your region. Looks like Riverside's two seed worked out nice. Mauldin should have thrown some in their own goal.

Riverside played really good, they are a talented team. Good luck to them in the play offs. We would love to play a rematch at the upper state championship with our whole team. We have a tough road to get there though.
