I am wondering what school districts have middle school championships and in what sports. I see in the paper today that Richland 1 has it in football. Here in Richland 2, our middle school ADs and principals are against it.

Could you enlighten those of us not in the know as to what "PAC conference" is?

If I am not mistake, it stands for Palmetto Athletic Conference. It is a mixture of local middle schools. Unsure of the county/district make up but I think it is just lexington coutny, but I might be wrong. Size doesn't play into the make up as much as location

It appears that all of the teams listed are in Lexington 1 & 2 and Lexington/Richland 5.

Is there a 'demand' for a JV State Tournament?

It looks like the middle schools in Greenville have district tournaments.

Aiken County has MS championships in FB and BB. The county is divided into 2 divisions and winners play winners and second place plays second place.

The PAC-13 is a very competative conference in volleyball, football, and basketball. While most of the middle school associated with the PAC-13 also run a middle school track team, we are not listing it as a sport affiliated with the PAC-13.

The PAC-13 consists of schools from Lexington 1 (Carolina Springs, Lexington, Pelion, Pleasant Hill, and White Knoll), Lexington 2 (Busbee, Fulmer, Northside, and Pine Ridge), Lexington 4 (Sandhills), and Lexington/Richland 5 (Chapin, Dutch Fork, Irmo). Gilbert was a founding member of the PAC-13, but dropped out of the conference.

If you need to know anymore info on the PAC-13 (formally PAC-14) conference, please ask.
