Coach Kevin Dempsey and the women's soccer team at the College of Charleston joined up the Cainhoy Soccer Club for a special day with folks from the Special Olympics.

Of note is sophomore Hannah Gmerek's interview online. She was a standout at Wren HS and participated in the 2008 Clash of the Carolinas.

I would like to thank the coaches and players of our club and the College for a truly remarkable day.

Coach Mike Barroqueiro, Hannah, and the rest of the girls were great ambassadors of the College and its soccer program.

This was a day to remember and one I will never forget. Everyone involved with this event benefited.
