Freshmen star forward Chipper Root suffered a lower leg injury yesterday in practice. X-rays showed a cracked tibia and he will be in a cast for 4-6 weeks. Recovery time is 4-6 months. No surgery was necessary. Keep Chipper in your thoughts and prayers as he has a very bright future. I will give more updates as they come.
