If you look at the rankings, you'll see that prominent movers included teams competing recently in the Copa America. Peru and Paraguay both passed us. Chile jumped a bunch. I suspect Venezuela did, too. Ironically, Brazil (a Copa "disappointment") also climbed a spot.
In the end, the question is, how many of the 29 in front of us would we beat, if the teams were similarly fresh and healthy, and playing on a neutral field?
