Obviously, much attention has been given to the girls programs, and specifically, the latest announcement from CESA. However, the CESA boys teams haven’t been neglected (and won’t be – wink, wink) Just in case anyone is interested, here are the opportunities provided for them over the past 12 months.

May 2008
· Signed agreement to bring in Liverpool’s top Academy Team (u18) and Staff. A Friendly was played that included some of CESA’s players. Liverpool’s Staff also trained some of CESA’s Youth Academy teams
June 2008
· Friendly at Wofford College (NSCAA Coaching Courses)
· Three Week Training Camp for Regionals
· USYS Southeast Regional Tournament in Raleigh, NC
July 2008
· Team Preseason Camp – College Coaches brought in to train teams as part of annual camp in preparation for Premier League season
· Set up Training Period for Goalkeeper with Liverpool
August 2008
· International Trip – Two Age Groups to England/Ireland and 2 Age Groups to England
· Older teams played friendlies against college teams such as Erskine, Southern Wesleyan, North Greenville University, and Limestone
· USYS Region III Premier League
· Hosted College Showcase as first weekend of Premier League matches
September 2008

· Unofficial College Visits with older teams to University of South Carolina
· Attended “CESA Night” at Furman University and Clemson University. Matches were viewed and Head Coaches spoke with players about college recruiting
