Everyone in SC, (players, coaches, fans) should be excited about Coach Noonan taking over the helm at Clemson. He is engaging prep and club coaches alike and is out observing and recruiting SC players. Word is out that staff was at several SC teams matches at the Blue Chip Tourney in Ohio. And Noonan was seen at the Irmo/Lexington game last night. I hope that other schools that have a rep for not looking at in state talent follow this example.

I may have to trade in my garnet and black for Clemson Orange. (There goes my inheritance). Good to see a coach who realizes that there are good players in SC playing School Ball, Region III and, yes, should I say it, USSF Academy. It is a shame that some College programs are leaning on (force may be too strong a word) players to leave the competitive (some use the word inferior) environment where they are playing to play Academy.

Clemson coaches spent a good deal of time watching CESA 92 and 93 teams play at Blue Chip. With 92's, had presence close to 100% during their games. And, as dropkick stated, they did spend time talking to the club coaches and others. It was good to see such a strong presence.

drop, why would you trade in your colors? which part of your statement is the shameful part? do you know of anyone in particular who is being leaned on? if some college programs are "leaning on" as you say, are you telling us that you know how to better prepare players for college than college coaches themselves? do you have anything to back that up? and, lastly, which teams are you suggesting are in a more competitive environment than Academy?
