Megan Polson has been named the Norse News Female Athlete of the Year! The Norse News Spartanburg High School Male and Female Athletes of the Year are chosen by the coaches each year. This honor is one that is bestowed to one male and one female athlete at Spartanburg High School who have proven themselves in good sportsmanship, outstanding athletic ability, and tremendous team leadership. What makes this honor even more special is that Megan has only attended Spartanburg High School for two years. To be able to captivate the athletic department, student body, and administration in that short of time could only be done by a very special young lady.
Megan will be continuing her Soccer career next year at Wofford College!
Some coaches go an entire career without having a "Special" player or "Special" person on their roster. Megan Polson has been both for the Lady Vikings Soccer Program.

Congrats to Megan and her family. She is an outstanding player, wonderful student but an even nicer young woman. Much success at Wofford in the Fall.

Megan and her Sparty teammates are going to be a tough out in the state play-offs. They are not going down without a fight!

I get a chance to go at them this Thursday. I am looking forward to a very competitive match in preparation for playoffs.

I have a feeling there might be a lot of "fans" from Clover in attendance that night.
