I was looking over the rosters for the upcoming season and noticed that many of the in state schools still don't recruit and sign a lot of in state talent with the exception of Wofford (16 in state) and USC (14 in state) all of the other schools I looked at have less than 10 in state players. College of Charleston (9), PC (8), Clemson (8), Winthrop (5), Coastal (3), and Furman (3). Furman tripled their contingent of in state players by signing two this year. Maybe they finally realized that there were talented players in South Carolina after losing twice to Wofford last year while they were nationally ranked. Of course the most talented players on all of the teams last year with the exception of Furman were from SC so at least the best players are staying around and with the addition of the SC signees at Furman this year they may be able to say the same.
