I heard a rumor the other night that the u17 Discoveries girls team is being coached by a senior in high school. Is there any truth to that? If so, what was the DOC thinking up there? I do not see how you can have a girl coaching girls that are just one year younger than her. You mean to tell me there are not enough coaches in the Rock Hill area as to prevent someone that young from coaching. Or maybe I am wrong and this girl is on the fast track. At this rate she should have her USSF "A" within a year or two. That would be some record. Maybe this also is the reason for the decline in teams the club has had over the past 10 years or so. Someone please let me know the truth to this rumor and this team.
