it appears that either CESA 91 is much better or CSC Blue is much worse or both. THat is a big win for CESA. Was the game as one-sided as the score???

I would think that the new players from Hilton Head, Charleston, Rock Hill/Charlotte, etc. along with some wonderful players from the upstate would definitely have a big positive impact for CESA.

I could be mistaken, but I believe there is a new player on the CESA 91G from the Asheville area also. Word is from onlookers that CESA 91G is much improved, and yesterday's win was an exciting result for them.

U18G
CESA Premier 4, CASL Spartan Elite 0
CESA Premier 1, Greensboro Twisters 1

[Note: In this age group, CASL beat Greensboro for last season's NC state championship; however, Greensboro was second at regionals this summer (to Dallas Texans) -- both NC teams in this age bracket are strong teams.]

Beezer: I realize that it defies expectations, but I heard that the CASL (and to a lesser degree, Greensboro) parents were exclaiming that the CESA team had better technique, tactics, speed of play, and athleticism. It's a shame the ODP regional coaches don't seem to believe that this can be true of South Carolina players.

Chico,

That CESA U-15G team is much improved. I believe they added players form Mt. Pleasant, Columbia, Charlotte (Rock Hill) and Asheville. Good results for them this weekend.
