WOW! That is what soccer is all about..being a team player first and thinking bout stats as secondary. Do you charge a fee to be a guest player? Or expect free meals and a free room when you guest play? Do you have to be guaranteed so minutes per game before you decide to guest play with a particular team?
Since you are with CESA you need to get Chico to do you a cream pie chart of all your stats.

Dad Keeps Stats.

Do you charge a fee to be a guest player?
No, just looking for experience.

Or expect free meals and a free room when you guest play?
No thank you.

Do you have to be guaranteed so minutes per game before you decide to guest play with a particular team?
No.

Since you are with CESA you need to get Chico to do you a cream pie chart of all your stats.
No, although I like cream pie, I just hope the stats distinguish me for a playing opportunity.

Thanks for your truly insightful contribution. Since you were a striker, I invite you to contact me for some practice.

But seriously.............if you want your name out there for teams to consider there used to be a free recruiting page on here before the forum got hacked by some Lugoff goof-offs. Also, you may even make your own website free on yahoo and then email it to teams.

Soccer For Fun: Heck...I like ambition...great post!

One comment to you. Since you're a registered player of a club, another coach contacting you via e-mail to play for his team could be considered "unethical recruiting." There's a lot of skitishness over this these days because some clubs have been registering formal complaints against some other clubs and coaches -- and e-mail seems to be the primary weapon used in these cases (e-mail from a coach to a player -- doing it the other way around would seem to be okay -- but don't be surprised if you get a telephone call back!)

Since there aren't many teams in South Carolina playing at the "premier level", what you might want to do is generate a short list of prospective clubs/teams and contact their coaches directly. Off the top of my head, in the U16-U17 boys age brackets, this would include in South Carolina Bridge, CUFC, DSC, and LCSC (their U17B team should be outstanding.) I could be missing another team as well. You ought to be able to use Hotstat and their web sites to find out who their coaches are or simply ask your coach.

Good luck!

Chico, thanks, I've already cleared it with the coach of my rostered team and I am available to play. If a prospective coach has any questions, please contact me and I would be happy to put you in contact with the coach for further information.

SOCCERSMYLIFE, not sure how you got confused but I've never played for the Bridge, as the post says For CESA & For GSA. The post compares my GAA by rank to other teams keepers that played in the respective tournaments.
