Wow! CUFC was ***DOMINANT*** in the classic this year.

What an outstanding set of results for each of these teams and the clubs they represent.

Why is it that teams from SC were playing Premier teams from NC and other states at a "Classic team" Regional Tournament ???? And before someone tries to tell me that they're were no Premier teams playing Do your homework as my Husband has and seen where this is the case.

Premier teams from NC are not allowed to enter the President's Cup- the other NC teams in the President's Cup would raise concerns. What age/gender do you think it occured?

I do know the NC classifies CLASSIC and CHALLENGE teams differently from how we classify them. They are exact opposite to each other. In other words our 'C' teams here are called CLASSIC, while NC 'C' teams are CHALLENGE. The 'B' teams in NC are CLASSIC, and our 'B' teams are considered CHALLENGE level. The NC 'PREMIER' team may have the 'PREMIER' name only and be playing down due to not qualifing at the PREMIER level.

the 2nd and 3rd tier teams from NC are usually much stronger than our (SC)same level teams due to a much larger pool of players. A number of the NC clubs have 4 teams in an age group.

1st Division East is North Carolina 1st Division Classic. There are also another nine teams in 1st Division West, the majority of those teams being from the Charlotte area.

As firsttouch mentioned above, the teams that play the next level higher, up in the State Premier League, are forced to play in the "Snickers Cup" and can't play down in the President's Cup. Historically, teams that are very good in the NC 1st Division East and West will challenge themselves and play up with the big boys in State Cup. All of the teams in the middle and lower classic first divisions, plus the teams from the classic second divisions (East, Piedmont & West) will enter the President's Cup.
