This award and recognition is a huge commendation for soccer at all levels in the south. I'm sure Dom has done a great job with his players, but I'm sure he would readily admit that he depends a great deal on what comes through the gates every August. Irmo and Wando in the Top 20 also shows the strength not only of their programs, but in the standard of competition in the south.

Irmo should break the top 10 in no time considering they could easily handle NW and their #1 ranking any day.

1 - Northwestern
5 - Irmo
25 - Fort Mill
34 - Pinewood
39 - Bishop England

This poll is particularly volatile though.

IRMO (as everyone likes to call them...they are actually Irmo, not an acronym as everyone seems to think they are) cannot even shine the boots of Northwestern. The yellow jackets cannot even come close to the Trojans in terms of talent. Period, we will see that in the playoffs.
