The Lady Raiders redeemed themselves tonight against Riverside. Greenville scored first in the 13th (Mary Wessel) and 23rd minute(Ali Lewis). The Lady Warriors closed in off a corner kick in the 38th minute (Anna Tarry). RHS equalized eight minutes before the end of regular time (Krista Hagler).
2 x 5 minutes overtime remained goalless.
After 5 penalty kicks each, it was 3-3. The 6th PK gave Riverside the win when Blair Worthington saved the shot and Anne Austin found the net.
Final score: RHS 3 - GHS 2
Looking forward to another good performance @ JL Mann this Thursday.
