Posted here will be news and info about the COLUMBIA UNITED FC Clash of the Carolinas for girls. All participants and their families are asked to check here often. All players are required to stay in the room provided, no exceptions. Families can also make reservations at the same hotel. You should have that contact info. When making your own reservations it is not necessary to speak with anyone in particular. Any of the Hampton Inn's capable staff can help. Please do not insist on speaking with the manager.

Parents, your rooms START at $109.

Ticket Purchase- We receive a 50% donation from The Battery for every ticket we sell. PLEASE, when ordering tell them you are with the CUFC Clash of the Carolinas. Your price is $10 and your seats will be on the home side. This price includes both all star matches as well as The Battery vs. The RailHawks. I will do a mass mailing (snail mail)this week. All participants should receive it by Sat. Please contact me if you do not.

Would it be possible to list the colleges that Clash of the Carolina kids are attending and whether or not they'll be playing soccer for those colleges? It'd be interesting to see this for the North Carolina kids, too....

True, the program has SC kids listed with colleges.

I'm wondering how many kids from each team are actually planning on playing soccer in college. For instance, Sam Mattern, a very fine player from J.L. Mann, is not playing for Virginia Tech.

I suppose it'd be fairly easy to look at each college listed for their individual SC signees - since North Carolina players don't have colleges listed in the program, that'll make the task pretty tough, though - anybody know where Stephanie Rose is playing? Duke???

Stephanie Rose will be playing at UNC Wilmington.
