Airport High School will once again host its 7th annual Lady Eagle Classic April 16th and 17th, 2010 at Eagle Stadium.

The 16(or 24) team tournament guarantees 3 games per team with a 4th game being a possibility. The Entry Fee is $175.

South Aiken, despite the Tournament Director , loves this tournament. The school has prom on Saturday, but will take a part JV/part Varsity squad up there to compete. It's a first class place with great competition.

The weather and soccer was enjoyable last night. I was a little surprised at how White Knoll controlled their game against Swansea. WK showed good speed and skills in the middle and up top.

South Aiken lived up to their billing as one of the favorites in the tournament.

The Chapin and Academic Magnet match was very entertaining. Both team has some chances to take the lead during regulation, but exceptional goalie play by both teams sent the game into OT. The PK's went to the 10th kicker for each side. A tough way for a game to be decided.

Looking forward to more good weather and soccer this weekend.

Also a congrats to South Aiken as they hung very tough tonight although missing 10 players due to prom. Be safe!

SO to anyone who was at the game, Would those ten players have made a difference? And how many were starters for SA?

after watching south aiken play several times this weekend, i do believe the 11 players missing would have made a huge difference. i talked to one of the players while they were walking in who said that they were missing 5 starters due to prom.

Having played SA and White Knoll, they are both quality teams! However, in my opinion, SA is the better team.

I appreciate Keith for running a first class tourney again this year!

Having seen one of WK's best players, from last year, sit on the sidelines with a busted up knee this year, hats off to WK. They worked their way to the championship game and won. No one should take anything away from that.

Congrats to SA and WK! Missing those kids more than likely changed the outcome, but WK still is a much improved team from years past. The girls down the depth chart at SA are no slouches so the Lady Timberwolves still had to work hard to win.

is there an all tournament team for this tournament?
