High School Sports Report
www.hssr.com - The list of All-State teams from all sports can be seen here.
I'm not sure why some players from AAAA - AAA - AA/A were left off the list. Only 36 (14 AAAA , 11 AAA, 11 AA/A) girls are listed on the HSSR All-State team, as opposed to 54 combined on the SCHSSCA All-State teams.
I think that schools have to pay to be a member of HSSR, which may explain why some players were left off, if their school is not a subscribing member (similar to a coach having to be a SCACA member to be on an All-State or All-Star game committee). But that still wouldn't answer the earlier question about why one Dorman player was left off.
In the 90s HSSR had a spell where they provided info. that rivaled Kicking Around (rankings, team write ups, top players in the state, etc.), or at least "different" info. which made for interesting reading of both documents, but Kevin and Kyle made strides to eclipse HSSR's soccer coverage very rapidly and we now have what has to be the best high school soccer website in the nation.
