Mike Noonan, coach at Brown University for 14 seasons, has been hired as men’s soccer coach at Clemson University.

Under Noonan, the Bears won eight Ivy League Championships and appeared in the NCAA Tournament 10 times. In 2009, Brown was runner-up in the Ivy and reached the second round of the NCAA tournament, falling to the University of North Carolina 2-0.

He replaces former assistant coach Phil Hindson, who served in an interim role following the resignation last June of Trevor Adair.
