3 Starters for JI hurt and out of the game in the 1st 15min. 1 clear offsides goal for Wando . 1 PK for Wando where a Wando player ran into the JI goalie fell into the net and the ref gave her a PK...crazy. Shannon Champ should give her players some restrictions once they are ahead by 5-6 goals . It was 6-0 at half. We all know they are a well coached ,deep team . What does beating some other team 13-0 do for anyone except pad her stats .Just an opinion.

JI 9 Berkeley 0
JI 13 GC 0
JI 13 Berkeley 0
JI 16 GC 0
JI 9 Stratford 0

2006:
JI 15 GC 0
JI 18 GC 0

2007:
JI 17 GC 0
JI 10 OW 0
JI 13 GC 0
JI 10 OW 0

2008:
JI 10 South Florence 0 (First round playoffs)

We took the same beating from Wando and I didn't exactly enjoy it either, but it doesn't seem fair to single out Coach Champ for not holding a score down when they have advantage. If we manage to improve our result against them in the second meeting, I'd like to know it's because we played better, not because they made a decision to stop scoring at a certain point.

Hoping the injuries were slight and the players will be back on the field on Tuesday; I coached some of the JI girls at CUSC this past fall and we're looking forward to a good game!

Wow, short memory aroundtheblock, would you like to explain why JI can run up the score but others can't.

Wasn't trying to single out JI either...you look around, you see a lot of lopsided scores from a lot of teams, and only recently there's been some kind of outcry against it. I have a problem with leaving in starters just to pad stats and taking high-risk chances that lead to injuries when a game is already well-decided, but not so much with giving everyone a chance to play and letting the second and third strings have an equal chance to hone their skills as the starters. Just looking at the numbers doesn't always tell the story of which is which.

Wow sweet feet....new to the HS soccer arena and don't have time or interest to do any research that is that detailed . My daughter did not play any of the years listed .I said it was my opinion and i didn't really mean only for Wando . I don't think any coach should allow that to happen, including JI. My daughter has played soccer for many years and several coaches of her's have controlled the score by playing a man down, only shoot after 5 passes or on a header etc. There are ways to do it. Again ,just an opinion.
