next year riverside will move to 4a, correct? you would think BE girls would move to 3a to be challenged in post season play. not sure why these 2 teams have it this way.

Aren't they placed in the classes they are in because of their enrollment numbers?

don't think so for riverside.......and BE doesn't have any comp in 2a..maybe 1 team from time to time.

Based on the 135-ADM enrollment numbers on the SCHSL site, Riverside has the 34th largest enrollment in the state. That clearly puts them in AAAA for the next two years.

if we had a tier system in place it would balance things out and make it better for all teams...especially ones that are fielding a new team vs getting blown out by 20 goals playing in their region. plus, not have a situation like BE where they basically win state championship every year. but with the leadership or lack of at the schsl you can't expect too much.
