Stephanie DeVita managed to be identified despite playing on a less than stellar team. Did she put up numbers against Dorman, Mauldin and Spartanburg? Heck no, she didn't have the supporting cast.

But.....somebody noticed she could play.

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
