High School Soccer Media -
CAYCE, SC - The Brookland-Cayce High School BEARCAT SOCCER program will host its second annual
Soccer For A Cure event on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at The Cage. 10 teams representing five schools will converge at The Cage for a full day of prep soccer.
The
Objective of this Challenge is to encourage soccer teams, coaches, and fans to raise money for families located in their area that are stressed financially while in a battle with cancer, through donations, events and/or by pledges.
The
Concept of
Soccer For A Cure is to establish "Team Soccer For A Cure" from donors committing to make annual donations that most families can afford during these days of tough financial times. We believe it is better for thousands of families to participate by donating small amounts ($1.00, $2.00, ... $5.00) each year than to have a few donating large amounts each year. This is the model that we've chosen to grow the team over the coming years. However, we do not want to discourage anyone from making a donation of any amount at any time.
