September 12, 2011 will be remembered as a day when the Discoveries Soccer Club family lost one of it's members, Clifton Carter. Carter was involved in a tragic accident that took his life.
Clifton, a Discoveries 95 Green Premier boys team member, was a great soccer player but a better young man. His enthusiasm, passion and sheer desire to be the best he can be, were an inspiration to not only his teammates but to the club in general. Clifton played the game of soccer that he loved so much with energy that was often unmatched. He was a quality young man, leader of young men and a role model to anyone who wished to give soccer their all.
Clifton was loved and respected by his teammates and coaches alike. He will be sorely missed but fondly remembered. Discoveries Soccer Club would like to extend their absolute condolences to the whole Carter family and let them know how exceptional of a young man he was.
