Lowerstate final. Wando who has been impressive in the playoffs this year against a South Aiken team that has also been doing well. My gut tells me Wando should win this game, but at South Aiken, you would think they'd come in as the underdogs. Opinions? Predictions? Discuss...

Two very good teams, each capable of defeating the other. Have seen many of the players from both teams in different venues and competitions. Many are Academy teammates. Wando may have more depth of quality, but South Aiken certainly has more than enough to win.
Factor in a 2:30 busride and whatever other home-field advantages may accrue to South Aiken, and I'd be hesitant to pick a winner.
I would say this, though. If I were Wando's players, and likely to face some unfamiliar officials, I'd zip my lips, keep emotions in check, and JUST PLAY. 10-v-11 may work at Summerville. It probably won't work at South Aiken.

I agree black screen. Hopefully we will see a clean competitive match. But I will pick Wando.

South Aiken has a good team and will probably have a good game plan. They definitely have the home field advantage because their pitch is terrible, lots of sand and ruts throughout. Having said that, Wando is loaded with talent and is playing very well. I expect Wando to win by 2 or 3 goals.

for the reasons stated above, it will be physical, but the better coached, mentally prepared team will win, as usual....lets see what you've got coaches.

South Aiken is a dangerous team, with naylor zaremba and Gaul as well as Ulmer in goal. Wando has yet to been scored on in playoffs and has a +17 gd in 3 games. Last year the score was close at halftime and so was the run of play, but Wando broke away to make it a 7-3 final. It will be a good game with alot of heart.

I think that tonight, Travis Naylor shows that he is better than any other forward in the state. Same for Lightbody as a center-mid. SA 3-2

3-0 Wando with 20 left. Maybe I got over excited a tad... Good luck to Wando in the finals
