5:00 pm - Class 2A Girls
7:30 pm - Class 2A Boys

Friday
12:00 pm - Class 3A Boys
2:30 pm - Class 3A Girls
5:00 pm - Class 4A Girls
7:30 pm - Class 4A Boys

Saturday

12:30 pm - Class 5A Div II Boys

Yes on the schedule, especially with 5A having two Championship matches.

As far as next year’s schedule is concerned - that should begin a rotation of times for every Classification to occupy each time slot until the cycle is completed.

Also, the latest any match should “start” is 9:00 p.m.

Coming from the guy that agreed to the fiasco, I am good with making some sort of rule on that. But there also needs to be times and locations pre-determined for the makeup game/s. The SCHSL couldn't give me any information on when and where the game would be played, other than Monday. We would have to pull our kids out of school again and make a long trip back home after we had been there for hours just to do it all over again on Monday. Charter bus was $1500 alone and we had people from all over the southeast come to town to watch the game. There are a lot of factors to consider.

I do not however, agree with playing games on Thursday and Friday before 5:30. Some of our kids were doing their AP tests and had to finish quickly to get on the bus to Columbia. No students from the school will be there unless it is a local team, and it is a tough ask of parents as well.

The SCHSL does not take into account the AP exams that student athletes are taking. This year we were lucky that the first three rounds were not during the AP exams. In the past, the first three rounds were during exams and impacted every school that had qualified for the playoffs. Whether it is an athlete having an exam the next morning after a late game and travel or having to worry about finishing their afternoon exam and having their parent drive them to hopefully make it by the time the game starts. Then if you are fortunate enough to survive and advance, your athletes that are taking multiple AP exams are impacted multiple times.
