Coach Chass: Your point is well taken. I certainly meant no disrespect for Colleton, as I said they played hard. If you had seen the game, you would understand that HH victimized itself with a lot of individual play and that they got away from playing good, fundamental, team soccer that would have produced a blowout. Frankly, the score was irrelevant to my assessment of how HH played last night. Their first goal was the result of beautiful play. The other two were not. Colleton was quick to capitalize on HH's mistakes and very nearly forced overtime. They have some very athletic young men on their team, but no where near as many experienced soccer players to stay with HH, Fort D, Summerville, or Beaufort playing near their best. Of course, that's why we play the game. George Mason is in the Final Four even though no sports writer in America picked them to get there. The bottom line is Colleton Co. showed up to play and did their best. HH should evaluate their effort last night.
