I feel a mercy rule is just as degrading as a 16-0 loss also, but no team should ever be beaten 16-0, think of that in football terms thats like 100-0. Fort mill girls, after they score 5 or 6 goals, they can only score in special ways. Like one touch, or on a header. And doing this makes it more difficult to score, and at the same time, improves the soccer skills. Playing 40 minutes of keep away does nothing to improve a teams skill. I hate seeing scores that are very high into the double digits, thats so degrading for teams.
