Also, currently the High School League requires you play 11 players if you have them. Club soccer does not have this requirement.
How about the SCHSL saying that you have to have at least 6 field players on at a time no matter how many players you have.
This would be the best way to keep scores down. Then, if a coach sees a game getting out of control, he can go to 10, 9, 8, etc players. If he chooses to keep all 11 players in, then we can discuss his ethics but as it stands, he does not have the opportunity to play short handed.
