There are certainly individual teams in SC that can compete with anyone regionally or nationally.
'93 Bridge, for example.
But to your point on numbers.....there are 2, maybe 3 teams in SC that could compete successfully in the top division of NC Classic for the '93's. There are 8-10 doing so in NC.
Teams like Bridge and CESA can play with anyone. But what happens after that? Greenville is big enough there should be 2 really good teams...same with Charleston area. Columbia ought to have a couple of good teams. Myrtle Beach area....Aiken ought to have a good team. York County....
Instead, the cupboard is so bare that teams have to play up to get competition.
