Bridge without a doubt would win the BU12. Some very talented young men.

Bellig - wish it was vacation - i nixed the auto email notification for the thread. Not sure if its because i started the topic but was getting email whenever anyone posted. Regarding these games, I'm going with Cesa Challenge over MP, MP over NECSA, and lastly Cesa Premier 92 beats their younger premier team. Cheers

Bellig...the CESA 92/93 Premier game was postponed because the Wenwood and MeSA complexes were closed today.

Just read pg. 13 and wanted to reply. I must agree with whoever "Belligerent" is. I have unfortunately had to listen to "soccer for fun" more times than I care to remember. He is the epitome of bad sportsmanship, and certainly a constant reminder of the kind of parent I never want to be. I think it's important for all of us to remember that these are just boys playing this game. Let's let the coaches give the advice, and let the parents set a good example. Maybe if everyone keeps moving down field from "soccer for fun," he'll finally get the message!

NECSA lost to CSC Navy (3-4). The Mt. Pleasant game is still in question...no game was played. After a rain delay Mt. Pleasant was nowhere to be found? The other game at the NECSA fields resumed but the NECSA U13 team and the ref did not know where Mt. Pleasant had gone. I do not know if it is a forfeit or what is going on with this game. During the NECSA/CSC game I did not see a tremendous amount of talent waiting for the new Columbia United FC. Are there alot of players waiting to tryout in this age group who are currently playing up or is the talent pool in Columbia just not there?

Merritt Dempsey IS hot. I just wanted to say that.

USMNT2014,

Who actually postponed the game? I would imagine that Mt. Pleasant could lose their team bond for that.

Soccer For Fun,

Any thoughts/comments on why Mt. Pleasant didn't return for the game?

The center ref whistled the stoppage of play. This was the same ref. who returned after the rain delay and as I understand it never left the facilities. The game is posted as a forfeit by Mt. Pleasant. The game on the other field at NECSA resumed play after 25 minutes. I have no idea what Mt. Pleasant was thinking. There should have been better communication between the coaches prior to a team picking up and leaving to whereever they went. We were all rather perplexed.
