Hurst....these are Parky's boys, not mine. I'm a fee paying, sideline standin' dad....and proud of it.
We'll be frontrunners....but CUFC Green will be good as well as CESA Challenge and '94 Premier. A couple of GA teams I never heard of....so who knows what you'll get there.
Proof is on the field and I can't wait to get started.
From what I read on another thread the teams from Columbia United FC are going to be listed as Columbia United FC or Columbia United, not CUFC. I just hope that they stick with this listing so everyone knows what team they are talking about.
They have already the palmetto tree on their website. They need to change the name to PFC or PFA (Palmetto Football Club, Palmetto Football Association or Alliance - there would never be another club close to those names, and it is unique and distinct.
For an area to whom "USC" and "Carolina" mean something totally different than what it does the rest of the country this shouldn't surprise me.
CUFC in the Carolinas means Charlotte United Futbol Club. Maybe in a few years Columbia United can be successful enough to create some genuine uncertainty.
I saw Columbia United's '93 boys get racked by South Charlotte Saturday. Anyone know if that was Columbia's A team or B team?
When I lived in San Diego people seemed awfully confused by this and seemed to get their rinky-dink, podunk local area university confused with the University of South Carolina.
