Wren is top 15 worthy. They can have Hanna's spot

Caitlin Robinson lead the team in assist last year and is doing the same thing this year with Molly Harpe. When they put two on her back (mark + sweeper), she's smart enough to find the open player (Craft last night). Wren's defense played her almost perfect last night and that's not an easy thing to do.

Hanna plays that roaming role very well. The player that kept her and Wren underfoot last year is injured so we had to find a plan B. Gmerck will eat plan B alive.

Hawkeye Pierce,

Welcome back to Planet Earth. This is what makes high school girls soccer so exciting. I wish I was there, sounds like it was an entertaining match.

Gmerek plays the roaming position well, but she is a leader at midfield, there are a couple of rising stars on that team. No. 2 strong at forward, no. 11 fast at sweeper, no. 8 quick with feet, I believe they also have four starters out with mono and or flu, maybe they garnered a little more respect than they got from poor officiating at the Viking Cup.

Gamec,

How was the officiating in your Fort Mill game at the Viking Cup? Cause you guys to get off on the wrong foot? Was it the refs or was it because HG was "under the weather"?

Bahhhhh, poor officiating has nothing to do with nothing. I thought about taking that officiating route with my post, but both sides can argue that dead horse till they're blue in the face. Everybody deals with it so that's not valid. And trust me, you don't to go the injured detour either. I think our IR list would keep you from ever complaining again! I heard 2 monos and a concussion, compared to our ACL, foot surgery, two backs, one ankle, one flu, and one knee that has yet to have a cause determined.

No. 12 stood out last night and had a strong game as well as others. The JV was really strong last year and seems they are helping out the Varsity now. I was real proud of the Hurricanes and look forward to match 2.
