HG was sick and that put the team on their heels, the fort mill game was a game that they became a team in,they have 11 sophs, 2 frosh, 1 junior and 4 seniors they will get better, the second game the officials let MB run wild with fouls galore and then tried to control a frustrated young team without a major leader, the third game was lost mentally.
MASH, never said officiating during that game was bad or anything, was referring to Viking Cup, sorry for any misunderstanding. Very exciting and tense game, that one and Greenwood should be another.

I was talking about Viking Cup as well, but i reread my post and saw the confusion. I talked to a MB crew member at Fazzolis and you can imagine their take on things about how the officiating went in your favor. My point was that officiating is part of the game and should never be used as an excuse. You're not my son so why am I lecturing you!?!?!?! I'm an old man, sorry.

Greenwood has had some interesting scores and I can't get a good read on them. They've got that scutterbug up top that scares people reaaal good. We'll see how things go.

Dreher played it's 1st region game last night and won 2-0 against Chester. If Dreher hopes to win the region title(and they should),the girls will need to pick up their energy level and passion for the game. Come on seniors ... lead the way for all those new players(Dreher lost 7 seniors, you can do it!

Just to clarify this, I saw a girl turn around and throw her water bottle into the fence. I am in no way related to the girl that did it (although I absolutely love the passion she showed!) I'm about 95% certain that her frustration was over one of her teammates either losing the ball out of bounds continually and/or simply slowing play and not finding open feet.

Moving on to something more positive, I thought it was nice that the Lexington coach greeted each of the Chapin players before the game when the lineups were called out.

Chapin appears to be a well-coached team that showed a lot of passion and effort. Some of the the Lexington players came out flat in the first-half; Chapin didn't and I thought that they played hard, tough, soccer and gave great effort throughout. They looked very good to me.

Boy did you say a mouth full there. I couldn't agree more with ALL of your above statements....
