The two Pendleton goals were both scored by senior Tristan Herbert (One was a PK).

Andrew,

The Pendleton-Palmetto game was another tough physical close match as they usually are. Pendleton's Tristan Herbert scored first and Palmetto's Ignacio got the equalizer before the half. The second half found more cards than scoring chances as Palmetto was assessed 6 or 7 yellow cards resulting in 3 "soft" reds (#25, 8, 9) for various infractions while Pendleton's single yellow came during the overtime period. Midway through the first overtime Herbert was taken down in the box and cashed in the PK providing the difference.

Palmetto is a very solid and feisty squad, I was happy to come away with the win and stay just a single game back of Walhalla for the Region I-AA title. April 12th will be a tough one for sure!
