Coaches, one important fact that resonates from the past week of updating the All-State lists -- THEY ARE JUST THAT, ALL-STATE.
It's amazing how many 'average' teams have numerous All-State candidates. Truthfully, even the best high school teams in South Carolina have at most 2-3 players at this level -- much less teams hovering around the .500 level.
Unless your team is undefeated, totally stocked, etc., then please limit the nominations for All-State to 2-3 players "at best" in the future. There is a lot to filter through this year!
