no problem ... sometimes folks want to "blame" the committees, or such, but when no one is nominated, there is no way the SCHSSCA committees can authorize selections due to SCACA governing parameters.
It is a shame that the Coach failed to get his nominations in as Hilton Head has at least 2 players that should have easily made the 3A team. The coach and the Athletic Director should be reprimanded for failure to carry out their responsibilities.
Midfielders Carly(Freshman)and Kaitlin Iulo(Jr.) are All-State players. It is a shame they did not get the honor they both deserve. The coach had the opportunity to nomimate but did not. I could go on, but my mom taught me if I have nothing nice to say!!! Go Seahawks!!

Iasn't it true that you have to be a member of SCHSSCA in order to nominate the players? Or something like that?
I could not agree more that it is indeed a shame that deserving players are not recognized, but it ultimately falls on the head coach to be professional in their overall duties -- not just X/O's on the field. As for the SCHSCCA membership ... NO, you do not have to be a member to NOMINATE, only to serve on the selection committee. Without a head coach's nomination from that specific player's school, they player is not considered due to possible behavior or other "off the field" issues.
