Hurst66: Respectfully, I don't think that Lexington is in late-season form -- at least I hope that they aren't. I thought that Wando had the better of play for much of the game. Wando was much more physical than Lexington and won many more 50/50 balls. Wando played simply and straightforwardly and focused on balls to feet where Lexington often did not. In the end, I thought Wando just played together better and wanted it more.

I thought that Lexington had significant breakdowns in play that showed up throughout the tournament. I actually was (and am) amazed that they got to the finals -- it speaks well to the coaching job done at Lexington -- because this is a vastly different team than last year because of the loss of so many talented seniors. I think the team is still learning to play together. There's a lot of potential; but there's a lot of work and growth to do to reach that potential.
