SD, do you mean under which name will the challenge team be under, such as SSC or CESA-Summerville, etc?

I hope that SSC is effectively run as CESA Columbia. At best the satellite programs offered by CESA is second rate.
All the top coaches are located in Greenville. CESA runs a good program in Greenville no doubt about that. What other quality teams does the other sites have. The low country is just confused. There would be no quality teams coming from that region any time soon. I think this move by Andrew and Pearse is genius, you eliminate the competition from within and strengthen the top teams in Greenville with the players from the low country. This moves will only improve thier dominance over the region. I hope that Columbia United would keep producing and compete with CESA for the good of the game.

The truth hurts......

So all these parents are going to drive their kids to Greenville once a week? I don't think so..People that commute to Greenville choose to..CESA does not have to come to Summerville to dominate this state..That's already happened

Always Right,
This maybe a little off subject but…
The realtor's in Greenville are really pulling one over on a lot of rich smart people. If I could hit a 5 iron out of my $1.5M back yard and hit the CESA office. I would hardly call it a seedy part of town.

8. CESA has had 1 Regional Finalist, 1 Regional Semi-Finalist, and 8 Regional Quarterfinalists.
9. There are more players from Greenville choosing to play for CUFC than there are players from Columbia choosing to play for CESA.

CHT,

I guess your kid would be playing for one of the Greenville teams. No other club in Charleston area could offer the services that CESA would be offering.

I saw the post on the Summerville website that all teams would have professional coaches, I guess the current coaches at Summerviile are not considered professionals at present. If Summerville maintains there name and would have a DOC appointed by Andrew and Paerce; I wonder how much money is Summerville paying to have CESA heads advise them and also pay the DOC.
