I went last night and witnessed that blood-letting firsthand. Very strange game. Wando seemed to be almost toying with Irmo for the first 15-20 minutes, but none of the chaos inside Irmo's box resulted in a goal for Wando.

Then, Irmo seemd to just flip a switch, and the change in momemntum was very evident. They dominated from midway point of the first half until the end of the game. I had never seen an Irmo time so low on height and size before, but as usual, they seemed to have some great players that went hard all night. Even when it was 4-1, they were hustling as much or more than Wando for that 5th goal.

Whoever the sacrifical lamb is from the Upsate ought to save the gas money.

The bench has picked up Irmo in quite a few games this year, and the end of the 1st half yesterday was another example of it. Expect them to be strong againe next year, despite all the losses to graduation last year and this year.

two words: Christian Monroe. That kid kept irmo in it, its a shame that savitz starts his own kid, when talent like that is right there on the bench. If Monroe, keeps gettin better and keeps his grades up and stays eligble he will be the best player in the state by far.

Yeah, Christian Monroe definetly kept Irmo in it. I read somewhere he is only a freshman. Is that true? If so he is gonna be an awesome player in future years.

I also wanna wish the best of luck to both Irmo and Northwestern. Even though im not a big fan of either team, good luck and may the best squad win.

Christian is a great player, but his goal was easy. Zach Prince (the cross) and Mike Mukofsky (the shot) did the real work on Christian's goal; he had an open net to put the rebound away into. Garrid Edmonds, Alex Acree, Chris McCartney, and Patrick Faust have all made very significant contributions. Sani Hadziahmetovic and Grayson Mullins will be back, and there are some JV players who would start on some HS teams. And then there are the seniors. Irmo is a team effort.

Sorry, I left out Austin Moody, who should move into the keeper position next season.
