V. OLD BUSINESS-
A. Executive Director would like an audit performed by SC Youth employees to ascertain compliance with 60/40 rule during the 2019-2020 seasonal year. Any Club admitted after Fall 2013 is required to abide and work toward this compliance. Clubs must be in full compliance if that Club was a member admitted after Fall 2013 season. Historically, SC Youth has provided a period to allow new Clubs to work toward compliance within the first 18-36 months of membership. However, if a club adds a competitive team without a recreation balance then the Club will be non-compliant and going against the spirit of the rule. Sanctions may result.
Motion to Table by Michael w 2d by Katie until audit is completed on all clubs under the rule after 2013. Discussion on adding Open level to recreation numbers will be revisited under this item. REMAIN

B. 2020-2021 SCYSA Calendar for approval
Motion by Richard to open for discussion w 2d by Burns- item currently open for feedback from the clubs to the Executive Director. Recommend calendar for 2020-21 remain open at this time.
C. March 11, 2020 Evote
In an effort to limit physical contact before and after soccer matches, it is recommended that players avoid shaking hands or giving the "high fives." SCYSA would instead request that each team clap for their opponents. It is recommended that players wash their hands both before and after the match thoroughly. Parents are encouraged to select seating that provides adequate space between themselves and others on the parent touch line. The following actions are discouraged: sharing of water bottles, sharing of gloves (goalie or player), sharing of headgear, towels, shin guards or any uniform clothing between players.

(This was superseded by the Governor recommendation to suspend all gatherings of more than 10 people a few days later)
VI. NEW BUSINESS
A. Spring season update by Executive Director- SCYSA will make final decision on or about April 15 to coincide with Governor’s timeline on school closings. Announcement expected. This final decision will include both spring season and post season Cup play.
B. Current staffing numbers at SCYSA possible furloughs or reduced hours to consider going forward- application for Payroll Protection Program (PPP) submitted April 3, 2020

C. Cup Committee recommendations for completion of spring season if “all clear” is given. Multiple event style format to coincide two weeks after “return to play” announced.
D. USYS Summer events cancelled. Spring season cancelled. ODP Camp (July) still scheduled at this time.
E. Tryouts are cancelled at this time until further notice. No club is permitted to hold tryouts without clearance from SCYSA which will be given to all clubs at the same time. However, the recruitment date should be opened once a final decision has been made on spring season (April 15).
F. Cup Committee will determine which teams if any team will be advanced to represent SCYSA in Premier league play at 15U and 14U.
