How about those Gunners???

Today it was "1-Nihl to the Arsenal" as the Gunners edged Derby County 1-0 at Highbury.

Arsenal is now at the top of the Table with 60 points and has compiled a 17-3-9 (.741) record with nine Premiership matches remaining in the 2001-02 season.

Manchester United (58 points) and Liverpool (56 points) are 2nd and 3rd, respectively, while Newcastle (55 points, 28 matches played) rounds out the top four in the race for the Barclay Card Premiership Championship.

You guys beat us Saturday 2-0, but we'll be there in the end. By the way, I sent you an article reviewing the NUFC-Arsenal match. The deserved the win from what I saw.

Liverpool whipped Newcastle Utd 3-0 today. 2 goals from Danny Murphy and #3 from Dietmar Hamman. That puts all of 2 points between Man Utd, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Arsenal has a game in hand, but also have to play Man Utd, and one will lose points off that. Besides Arsenal, Man Utd also must play #5 Leeds and #6 Chelsea, who can easily take points off them. Liverpool has an easier schedule; only Chelsea should prove a real challenge. If it doesn't go to their heads, it looks good for the Reds to win their first title in over 10 years.

Congrats to Liverpool. I watched the game on tape delay last night, they deserved the win. NUFC is really missing Bellamy up front, and Dyer in the midfield. Big loss for us.
