Re: Status for SCACA Spring All-Star Events
Date: April 2, 2020

Our hope is that you and your families are safe and healthy as our state, communities, and particularly our schools/student-athletes are being greatly impacted by the coronavirus. Who would ever imagine a spring like this.

According to both the state and national medical experts, we will continue to see a spike in the number of cases during the next two weeks. We hope that we will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel after this timeframe.

Due to the public health concerns and the restrictions issued by Governor McMasters and after consulting with the SCACA officers and Auxiliary Representatives of Spring Sports, the SCACA Office is cancelling all North-South All Star events scheduled for May or June (Lacrosse, Golf, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Clash of the Carolinas Soccer).

These are most difficult, challenging times for all of us and we will continue pray for your health and safety.
