What do you think about the "fight" at the end of the Northwestern vs Irmo Game Staerday? Ithought that the Irmo #7 was a little bitter and childish.

I didn't see much of it, but from what I heard both sides acted wrongly.

But can you blame him? Do you think a senior who just lost the state championship is really going to react any other way? It wasn't right, but he shouldn't have been provoked in the first place.

Wasn't directly provoked. A few players from both side showed a little unsportsmanship throughout the match and acted a little immature.

I heard/ from what I saw I saw Varney get an elbow to the head by A Martinez and so Varney just retaliated.

Like that was the only elbow thrown during the match. Right!

This is the same thing I heard, but I was on the Irmo side so I didn't have the best view of what was going on.

if you are speaking of the bruhaha at the end of the game, i was standing in the end zone and saw a tackle from behind by an irmo player that was totally uncalled for. plus the nhs player was headed out of bounds. i did not see any blows thrown by either team. i did not see any elbows and felt that cooler heads prevailed. if there was retialiation by an nhs player it was justified based on the tackle, but i did not see any. best team still wion.
