Any predictions for the 2A playoffs coming up? Seeding seems a little rocky. I'll take both lower seeded Emerald and Gilbert in the Upperstate final this year.
Bishop England and Waccamaw for lower state?
I like the prediction of Emerald and Gilbert. Both of them split with the teams we're expecting to see them play in the third round. The top 4 looks to be much better in the upperstate then the rest of the pack, so I have to go with no upsets in the second round. Emerald will win upperstate again, and they will lose to Bishop England in the state finals again.
Another year, another state title for BE. I wish they weren't in 2A lol
Don't know much about the lower state so can't comment much there.
I like the Gilbert prediction also. A 3rd match between Emarld and Walhalla should be an "instant classic".
I heard that Andrew Jackson took Gilbert to OT and they played with 10 players the last 7 mins. of the second half...AJ lost 1-0.
I heard the same about 10 men. Someone posted 3-0 (OT). Either way, I am sure AJ boys were worn out by the OT. Wake up call or crack in the armor? Walhalla / Emerald winner probably favorite to win upper state. Anyone know the time of this game Saturday?

the batesburg game was surprising 7-2 over pendleton. emerald/walhalla will be the game to see
AJ played about 30 minutes with 10 men. Then about 5 or 6 minutes in OT before conceeding a goal. The game could have went either way 11v11. The red really changed things.
BATESBURG! whoever took Gilbert to win i'm sorry, the panthers smashed them 5-1 it wasn't much of a game. Walhalla vs. Batesburg will be a decent game but the winner is no match for Bishop England this year. Bishop England has it yet again...
